Bringing Back March 24, 1980

Well, with a whole lot of blood sweat and tears, I, with the help of numerous loving family, managed to throw Wayne a surprise party for his 30th birthday, but with a twist......we brought back March 24th 1980.

He was a little surprised by our apparel but got it pretty quickly, probably from all our blue eye shadow and rather fluffy hair.

Happy Birthday Chase

I already feel myself getting emotional just writing this. I love this boy. He is something really special to me and I am so thankful to be his mom. Chase turned 2 today and he has been so sick all week and we still don't know why. But he has literally been at my side for the past couple days, every drink, bathroom trip, he hasn't left my leg, but it's really been nice to have these quiet moments with him. He has been such a strong spirit to say the least and has brought me to points where I am literally sweating to keep up. But I am thankful this week to know that I need him just as much as he needs me. Happy Birthday Tay Tay.

I Heart Disneyland

I have a confession to make....I love Disneyland, probably more than what is normal and I will try and get there any possible moment that I have the opportunity. So the opportunity came and I seized it, along with 21 family members as well.

This is how we take pictures with Mickey Mouse, by not waiting in an hour long line and just finding an opening...... quick shot...and off we go. I know it's bad, but there's just too much other stuff to do.

This was Chase's favorite ride. He never cried on any ride but he would shiver throughout the other rides, this was the only one he didn't shiver on. He actually was an aw the whole time.

We surprised the kids with this trip and a week before we went Ella says to me "Mom, I need to go to Disneyland." Me- "Um why Ella?" Ella-"Because I just gotta see that castle." So here she is in front of her castle.

Ella, Tiegan and Landon right before there first ride on Space Mountain. Landon went on over and over again. Ella liked it, but says she was all done after one time around. I was proud of her for going.

Big Wayne thought it was so funny of me to want to take a picture of him with this coconut, but I just haven't been many places and thought it was just the coolest thing that a coconut had washed up to shore.

Happy Anniversary to the most amazing woman!!

It's hard to believe it has been 8 years since Brooke and I went to the temple to start our eternal family. I knew I loved her then, but I had no idea what an amazing person I was being blessed with. Brooke and I have had 8 years full of fun, laughter, enjoying beautiful children together and yes a few tough moments. Today I love her infinitely more than I ever knew I was capable of.

Brooke, thank you for being the most amazing wife and mother. Thank you for putting your relationship with the Lord first and setting such a great example for myself and our children! Thank you for putting up with my complaining! Thank you for being such a great support the past 7 months as I'm out of the home so much. Neither of us are perfect, but I'm 100% sure we are perfect for eachother.

I love that I can say this publicly, I love Brooke McLaws and I'm so glad she's mine forever!
