Happy 5th Birthday Landon

I cant believe it's been 5 years since this wonderful happy little boy came into our lives. I can't thank Heavenly Father enough for sending such a special boy to us. You are so kind, happy and fun.

Step One: Sitting up

Well a little update on Chase, he is finally sitting up this week at 7 months old. He is such a fun little boy and loves to stare up at you until you smile back at him. I love being with him and his little snorts, I seriously just want to snuggle him to death. We love you little Chasey.

Rock Stars

Today I heard a rock concert going on in my living room and I came in to find this. They had heard the movie, "Camp Rock" was going to be on tonight and I guess, were very excited...

Landon and Chuck E. Cheese

This weekend we had Landon and his cousin Dawson's birthday party at Chuck E Cheeses. Landon's greatest fear is character's in costumes, so it took me a good 10 minutes to actually get through the front door and when I finally got him in he shook for nother 10 minutes including teeth chattering. I know some of you may think, why would you do this to him? But, I know Landon and it takes confronting his fear to get over it and by the end he was doing the Cha Cha with Chuck E.


It was a fun party complete with Incredible Hulk boxing gloves from Grandma Linda. All I can say is... Poor Ella.

My friend Julia took these pictures of my kids this weekend and they turned out so beautiful. She is so talented and I can't thank her enough!

Ella's Rules

During FHE we were talking about being obedient and following rules, so we asked the kids about rules that they have to follow. Landon began saying during his class at church he sits still and doesn't talk to his friends while the teacher is giving the lesson, and we said,"Yes Landon, that's a very important rule to follow" and Ella thought for a second and said "I have a rume." I said "Ella whats your rule?" and she replied, "If people are mean to me and take my toys I get to bonk them on the head!" Wayne and I sat stunned, but before we could correct her she says,"I have another rume, if people are nice to me I will be happy, but if they're mean I will push them!" I feel like there should be some sort of manual out there to help me guide this sweet spirit.

Poor Wayne

Today Wayne had his ACL surgery done, performed by our brother-in-law Gus, he was awesome. Poor Wayne was scared to death, but the anesthesiologist slipped him something extra special beforehand to make him feel a little more at ease before they cut him open. Wayne didn't make it easier on himself by watch several ACL surgeries on the computer the day before his surgery, but I tried to comfort him the best way I knew how, by acting like a complete dork to try and make him laugh, and it mostly worked, he wanted me to stress and worry more but I knew he would be fine, he was in good hands.

Going Away Party

We had a slammin going away party(thank you Dawn and Joe) for our good friends the Claytons this weekend, complete with Karaoke and my own personal back up dancers (special shout out to Katie and Tara), it was such a fun night. I knew this time was going to come, but it just came to soon. We have had the best of times with them and I know there will be plenty more, Girls Night Out just won't be the same without Melissa. But we will always be thinking about you, we'd call you, but it seems that they don't have telephones in the jungle:)Miss You!
