Mr. Potato head

Yesterday, Landon came in with a Mr Potato head and said, "Mom look what I made." I said, "Wow Landon that looks really good." He said, "It looks just like Uncle Brent." I said, "Your right it does look like Uncle Brent." So Brent, if you were ever wondering what you would look like as a Mr. Potato head, here you are.

Such Good Friends

This is Drake and Landon at our going away party. They have been the greatest of friend for about 3 years now and love to play pirates and Peter Pan together. They are so fun to watch.

This is Ella's very good friend Eli, they came over to play this week because very soon they will be moving to Honduras (crazy kids) and we will miss them a terribly. Eli and Ella have a special relationship where he yells, "Ella, Ella" and she runs away, she likes to play hard to get. They really have a lot of fun together

Chase's First Foods

This week we( it was a group effort) gave Chase his first baby food. He wasn't so crazy about squash, but sweet potatoes he loves.

Funny Story about Landon

The other day I took the kids to Chick-fil-A and we ate and they played on the toys. Well this morning we're leaving to go to the store and Ella says "Mommy where is my purse I've looked for it everywhere," and Landon says "Ella I thinks you left it at the Flicken Chicken." So now we have Old McDonald and the Flicken Chicken. Funny kids.

Our New Home

So as you all know we have moved to Surprise. We have now been in our new house for 2 weeks now and we really like it. We are finally starting to get settled, but it's still going to take some time. Landon crawls in my lap every once in a while and starts to cry and says he wants to go home now, that hurts, but I know it will just take some time. We've gone to our new ward for the last 2 Sundays and it really has been a good experience. Landon was very shy and scared at first, but as soon as they included him in an activity he asked his teacher, "Wanna see how fast I can run?" and he's been good ever since. Ella, or I should say "Miss Independent" didn't even look back when she went to nursery, she was ready to take over as soon as the door shut. I really like it here though, I do miss my aerobics during the week but I do get to run every once in a while, Wayne won't let me run by myself, so we take the kids to the park and I run around it while he plays with the kids, I feel like I'm twelve. Wayne has started going to the gym with my brother everyday and really enjoys it, it's nice to have family so close.

Mom's Visit

We had a really fun time when Mom, John and Tyler came to visit for a week. It's always fun hanging out with all the family. All the kids and their dads went swimming and later we even did a little karaoke. (Who knew Tyler could sing?) Landon loves playing superheroes and pirates with Tyler. I would say thanks for being such a good sport, but I think you had every bit as fun as Landon did. Ella loved coloring with Grammy Sue on the floor in her room, she will always remember that. We loved having you guys here. Can't wait to see you soon!
