Christmas with my Dad and Teri

This weekend we did our family Christmas with my Dad and Teri

Brooke, Andrew, Teri, Dad, Mark, Spencer and Brent. I can't believe how old we all are! We still have just as much fun though. Funny how that stays the same.

Teri made each of us our own apron, they were very cute and very thoughtful!

Here are all the cousins playing out the nativity, it was very cute.

Here we all are gathered for a wonderful Christmas dinner. It was a great night!

Santa's Coming to Town

This weekend we got to go see Santa Claus, the kids were so excited, I thought for sure we'd have at least two scared and crying, but nope they all loved it. Ella asked for a butterfly robot thats pink with white polka dots and Landon asked for a parrot that talks. Wow! Santa needs to get his work on.

The Light Parade

Saturday we went with my family to see the APS Light Parade, it was really cool, but very cold, it's about time it felt like winter. Our kids had a blast, I even got a "Thanks Mom and Dad, this was the best night ever!" Woo Hoo!

Landon and Ella waiting very patiently

Wayne kept Chase nice and bundled for the evening

Mark, Jaymi, Kaytlyn, Kayley and Kensley all bundled and ready

Spencer and Lizeth

And I tried to get a picture of Brent and Jaime but they were dispersed all through the night. Maybe next time...

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

The Hassell's, in our ward, had a really cool Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. I have to say it was my first, but it was so fun and really hilarious to see what people found to wear!

The boys did some Karaoke and sang some sweet tunes

Then it was the girls turn and we blew their socks or I should say SWEATERS off!

Proposal

This is the ring that Landon put on my finger when he asked me to marry him last night. I of course smiled and said Yes and then went about the rest of my evening. As I was reading a story to Ella, Landon peeks his head around the corner and is very upset. I said, "Landon, what's wrong?" and he just shook his head and tears started coming down his cheeks. I said, "Landon tell me right now." He then bursts into tears and says, "I don't want to marry you." My feelings were a little bit hurt at this point and I said,"Why not?" and he said, "BECAUSE YOUR MY DADS WIFE!"

Bouncin Around

This year at Thanksgiving, Aunt Tricia put a big bounce house in her backyard for all the kids, they had such a fun time, so much for getting them ready though...

Teigan, Landon, and Dawson

Ella and all her bliss

Happy Thanksgiving

So this year I had the pleasure of having Thanksgiving at my house. I was a little nervous about making the turkey by myself but with great advice and my mother on the phone coaching me about where the breasts are located, the bird turned out well, now you can call me and I can help all of you find breasts!

I got to make these fun centerpieces, thank you Katie for your superb Martha Stewartness ways!

And unfortunately I only took one picture the whole night of Ella's olive fingers, but that's because we were all having such a blast that it slipped my mind.

Brents Birthday Bash!

Last friday we had such a fun night for by brother Brent's birthday. His wife arranged for all of us to go to Jesterz, a super funny improv show that has been something Wayne and I have loved going to for years. It was so fun going on a "date" with all of my siblings, it doesn't get to happen very often but we always have so much fun and many laughs. Thanks for such an AWESOME night guys!

I Wish...

I wish that I had more moments like these, when my kids ask me to come and watch them play and instead of watching through the window, I drop whatever I'm doing and as Landon would call it "spend the time."

Today they were playing Circus and were doing some cool tricks. I love their imaginations.

Chase and I were the audience and cheered them on.

Today was a good day.

Last Game

Saturday was Landon's last soccer game, he got to play goalie most of the game and was always ready to block that ball. He really has improved and tries so hard!

Family Time

This weekend we got to have a fun time at the park with our family. My niece Kayley had hip surgery this week and we planned a fun play at the park day before her surgery. The cousins love being together and getting dirty. Kayley's surgery went better than they had planned and she should be out of her cast before Christmas. She is such a wonderful person inside and out and we our so thankful everything went well. Love you Kayley. Thanks for the cute pictures Jaime.

Halloween Night Ahhhhhhh

Well our Halloween Night started a little rough. We go to Aunt Tonya's every year for yummy potato soup and trick or treating, so as I load up everyone in the car, in full costumes and turn the car on, it dies. So long story short, Wayne borrows jumper cables from the neighbor (shocker, we can't find ours) we get the car started, drive it out of the neighborhood and....it dies, so Wayne runs (literally) home, gets his car and jump starts it again, meanwhile we are all sweating profusely, but make it their just in time for it to die again. Luckily, the potato soup was still there and the kids had fun.

Halloween Surprise

Wayne and Tonya surprised us Halloween morning and took the kids and I to the pumpkin patch. Wayne surprised the kids by hiding in back of the car and saying, "Hey can I come too" he loves doing that kind of stuff, it was pretty funny to see their faces.

All was fun at the petting zoo until this ferocious goat came out of nowhere, munched on Ella and scared her half to death.

The kids really loved trying to find their way out of the corn maze, Ella led the way

We had a blast on these riding go carts, Wayne didn't want to get off to let the other kids on.
